title: My Holy Grail Face Products [Part 1]
date: Saturday, July 27, 2013
time : 10:35 PM

Think is time to update my skin regiment after a round of very serious hormonal imbalance which caused serious acne outbreak

Other than my healthy diet which did so great in delivering a so much better complexion than before (with no more new acne and whitehead reduced dramatically), then will be this few holy grail skincare products.

Being one who are very seldom put on makeup, clear skin are important. I don't want to be someone who can only leave the home with makeup on, or even that crazy to put on any little bit of makeup at home. *insane*

Few days back went to replenished these again!! My 2nd bottle of Regeneration booster n' 3rd bottle Hydrating B5 gel.

One dramatically boosted my anti-aging regiment. The texture of my skin further  improved by quite a measure after just two weeks. I did see smoothness, firmness and added clarity that I did not have before. My pores seemed smaller too.

The other keep my skin supple, plumped it up with moisture. Keeps my skin feeling really hydrated.  It was named as hdrating 'gel' but the flow run like a serum.

Been having troubled acne-porn n' sensitive skin since teenage n' these were a lifesaver for my oily yet often peeling skin....without irritation.  So love!!

This is my 2nd bottle of vitamin c powder, used this for more than 2 months i think. Read lot of good reviews on this very long time back but because have been stick to my dermatologist super expensive owned in house Vitamin C Serum for 10 years or more so thought that I shall just stay with current skin regiment though, so I brushed it off.

Until Mq told me that she tried this vitamin c powder and are awesome, didn't know the one she mentioned is the one I read with lot of good reviews until I saw the bottle packaging. Wanna make a change to try on this since my current Vitamin C serum is too expensive and Mq also said is awesome to give it a try.

So why not!
I have been adding my HG vitamin C 'Turbo C Booster Powder' into this Hydrating B5 gel which control my face oiliness very well yet keep it hydrated. Recommended in the packaging to use half or one scoop of it with water-based moisturizer or serum each time in the morning and night. The only thing have to bec areful with is, the amount of powder use to the amount of moisturizer / serum you added to. If too much powder to too little moisturizer / serum, you may feel a little sting when applying it so I have to add a little bit more hydrating gel or reduce the powder quantity. I am comfortable now with a sccop of vitamin C powder with 4 drop of hydrating B5 gel.

Well, really thumb up for this too.

I also stocked up few of my acne controlled products and here are my HG skin prdt to combat acne and whitehead for day and night. All are from different dermatologists I went to.

And yes I'm still using 2 products which I blogged about it in the past, but not everyday now. Just as and when I feel I need it too
  for reducing whiteheads
a sebum regulators to reduce sebum

For pigmentation prevention, I'm using Obagi.

This 'Blender' with 4% hydroquinone to lighten and prevent pigmentation and at the same time correct uneven skintone. This had many good review in makeupalley.com too. Another super love, I have so much clearer skin with this!!

Not forgetting to protect my skin from harmful UV.
In the past, I very seldom apply sunblock cause I have oily and acne porn skin, so am very worry sunblock will clog my pores. My dermatologist at Redhill then introduced me this which I super love it cause it is not greasy and sticky at all, so I have no worries to use it daily. Been using it for 3 months I think, and so far no new whitehead or acnes.

If I have to go under the sun for long hours like picnic or cycling, I will put on this instead. Pretty cool too with very high SPF 90, yet I didn't get any acne from it.

Btw, I have stopped my Heliocare Sunblock capsule almost 6 months, after I into healthy diet.
Though it is researched that it is safe but I'm still extremely careful on whatever go into my mouth and through my liver and kidneys.

So that is the end of my HG skincare products. Will update about other more HG face products (weekly skincare, cleanser and makeup remover) when I'm free again.

Oh ya also been very happy on this purchase; read endless of very good reviews about this YSL new collection Babydoll Mascara, which is not yet launched in sg. So excited to get it but I searched many online sites, all doesn't ship to Singapore :( well, i'm so thrilled cause finally let me got hold of it.

Tried it on and this definitely made the head list. Truly a HG mascara!
It really coats the lashes well and brings insane length, which really does give a “dollish” look

AAHHH...AMAZING

I should have take a pics of it but never thought of it at that moment. Very seldom put on makeup so should wait till next time I have to put on makeup again and decide not to wear fake lashes.
