title: Basic home safety
date: Monday, October 08, 2012 time : 1:28 AM Was damn pissed with hus just now. This is not the first time but the second time I caught him. The first time, I had a huge argument with him that I didn't talk to him for a few days. Luckily I heard him before my elder girl, Amabel, really do it for him. That's happened last year if I remembered. And today again!! I heard him shouting out to Amabel to help him switch off the TV electric socket for him, just because he is busy with his new iphone and lazy to walk out of the room to switch it off himself. I fired up and stopped Amabel from doing what her dad asking her to and told her never ever touch any electric socket even if her daddy or anyone force her to, cause it is very dangerous, if not careful, 'you will DIE'. So yes I had an argument and cold war with Hus now and that I want shoving my middle finger at his face and scold him knnbccb if he appears in front of me again. Come on, you so love your kids, but i cannot understand why you can neglect the basic safety on children. Children are naturally interested in cords and plugs and their curiosity could lead to serious accidents. This is common knowledge. You asking a kid to switch off or on an electric socket, they may ended up playing with it cause of their curiosity. What if the kid touch the electric switch with wet finger or sticks wet fingers into an outlet, or even worse if the kid sticks a piece of metal into an outlet, electrocution is a definite possibility. Electrocution frequently results in death. There are lot of kids die every year by electrocution. This is the same as allowing your kid to go near a stove to cook, is all the same as pushing your child to death and danger. I'm one who want my kids to be independent at most things at young age but I will definitely not allow my children to touch any electric outlet, go near the window and get close to stove, even not to say to hold the spatula and wok to cook, before they enter teenage age. This is too dangerous!! Seriously, wake up your mind! If you are one Labels: Educate, My views, Roles of a Father, Words for you ADVERTISEMENTS
title: Fatherly Love
date: Friday, September 18, 2009 time : 1:52 PM Fatherly Love I were so touched to tear when I saw this clip, somehow it made me think of JnL; the scene where he carrying her, playing with her, coaxing her to sleep to laugh, holding on to her hands. The unbeatable smiles on their face, just like what I saw in the clip. These are just what I saw everyday. His love towards our girls. Blessing~ I believe he will cry when he saw this. date: Saturday, April 11, 2009 time : 12:55 PM I super buay siong... Almost everyday, I buay siong with him. He's just not up to my standard. To me, sometimes i just feel he's an unworthy partner. And maybe to him, I 'm a woman just not that perfect as a wife and a lazy woman, who stick to com and leaving the kids aside (??) Ha! Ha! What a big thing to laugh at when he said that. How true? Only I know and my maid know. 我對的起天地良心就可以了。 I only use the com, surfing net when I pumping milk, to kill the long pumping session. If not, will be when there's someone (like him...but is being forced to, cause Amabel glued him instead of me) taking care the kids. and that's alway less than 10mins then I will attend to them. Is it mean that I become a mom already, I don't have the authority to surf net already?? WTF right And for the past few days or when he's not at home at night; I'm alway the one taking care the two kids alone, never have the time to sit down and relax, especially I'm putting so much effort to train Amabel to adapt a good sleeping habit. I didn't even on the laptop. So who saw that! no one except the maid. and this idiot must be assuming that I only care on surfing net or blogging at home. WTF again I only get to pump milk after both my kids asleep, hence surfing net. Sometimes, I do surf till quite late but the kids are asleep throughout the night. So what's wrong with me surfing net right? I also need to have some own time right. Even though, I still wake up early in the morning so I can help to take care the kids for the maid. I never complains to him that I don't get enough of sleep, yet still need to take care the kids right I don't get to nap in the noon during weekend (but he can), cause I don't want the maid to overload with work yet with the responsibility to take care the 2 kids. Instead, he is the one kept complaining that he slept late (cause surfing net, watching TV) and being woken up by Amabel early in the morning. He should know that every morning , Amabel sure will disturb and wake him up. And yet he still want to sleep so late. Too bad ... He's just so unlucky cause Amabel cling to him. I know it's not easy for him, but... it's not easy for me either. If not because Amabel cling to him, I garanttee he will whole day surf net and relax one. But still, he often get to nap in the noon, leaving the kids under me and my maid's care. And he can happily surf net for quite long (at least longer than me), when Amabel is playing on her own and Aisleyne is under my care. So why he want to point his finger at me. Before you point your finger at me, please look at yourself, your the other fingers are pointing to yourself. I know he loves me and should know my character very well. He knows I don't like ppls to said me this and that yet he always like to purposely pick on me before looking at himself. Hence, I also want to pick on him too. If he keeps his mouth shut, I will be very happy. And I will treat him better. More worth to. Anyway he is just not supportive on the effort I put in and all the thing I do. To him it is just not necessary. Whatever! I'm simply tired of his nonsense. like I'm not tiring and busy enough. Back from work, I got to take care Aisleyne, clean her up, breastfeed her, pump milk, sometimes still need to bath for Amabel (when he refused to help), prepare milk for Amabel & brush her teeth and make sure she sleep early. Putting Aisleyne to sleep. And all this I have to BAO KA LIAO when he is working night or happily enjoying outside; pa billard, kick soccer, watch movie. He must feel blessed that I never leave my two kids at home with him, if I got program with my buddies. I alway bring both or either one of them. I know he can never handle this two hyperactive kids. Unless he get the maid to help, like that the maid can't do housework at all. Sometimes the maid to handle two thing at a time which is very dangerous. So I don't like at all. cause he's always complaining. And till now he still can't accept that I actually bring both the kids out alone shopping without anyone and pram. He keeps telling everyone that I sure cannot handle my two mischevious kids alone. But the reality is that, I DID IT without any problem, be it at home or outside. though is very tiring, but I managed it well I really hate myself cause I don't have the energy to even stand up for myself anymore. Cause no point argue back. 死的,他都可以講成活的。 so let him win lor. I'm just so tired of defending for myself when the finger is keep pointing at me with all sort of stupid thing. If I do, sure alot of things gonna happened again. I'm very good at creating all sort of hoola... that turn the world upside down for me. That everyone will start ke 頭. Don't wish to make my close one worry for me anymore. Don't wish to run away from home again. Cause now I got two kids, he sure cannot handle one. Don't want my precious ones to suffer. No time to reply comments and tags liao. Very tired, got to sleep now. Will reply soon. Goodnight everyone here! date: Friday, March 28, 2008 time : 9:46 AM Damn hot and piss off… Need to reach the venue by 7.15pm. Earlier he called, asking me not to drag my work till too late. Still I only managed to get off my work 10 mins late. I thought he will be downstairs waiting, who knows he not yet reach at 6.30pm. I called him, I nagged that he came so late, later I will have no much time to prepare. He replied: “You got nothing to prepare mah”. I fought back the word: “I don’t need to eat ah, I pregnant leh”. And he asked me to eat “BREAD”. I *F* @#%$^^*%* him………... and hang up the line. He wants a usual gigantic appetite ME to eat bread for dinner. If I miss my dinner, I can only get to eat it after 11pm, time that the event end. He thinks I can bear with the hunger? He should know better. Slap him for using brain to talk rather than heart. Despise this kind of person. When he reaches the office, I just let him wait and go to pack my dinner at company kopitiam. And slowly have my dinner. He wants to be late; I let him late. He wants to be scolded by his parent, let it be, caused not my fault. I not scared of offence anyone if they think I am the one delaying. After the event, I just bring Amabel home w/o informing him. Don’t have to report my movement to this kind of person who don’t care about me. I never regret treating him bad cause I don’t want to regret for treating him good. If you learn to treat me good, I will slowly change to treat you well. You treat me bad, I won’t give you face and I will remember forever. This is surely a bad example to my kids, but I won’t show it in front of them. I blog it here, just want them to know, how I will feel and go through it, only when they know how to think and get to read it 20 years later. Afterall, he is a good father. After my rebel against him being not helping me, he started to help Amabel bathe (sometimes only), change her diaper, coax her to eat and sleep. He loves Amabel a lot, search and buy toys that she likes. No much money to spend with, will still spend on educating her, sending her to enrichment class. Bring her out to many kids play areas during his off days, just worry that Amabel will be bored at home. At least this is what I satisfy with. So not much complain on this. Continue later with more update on Amabel. Got work to do now. Labels: Mommy's character, Roles of a Father, Roles of a Husband 2 Comment(s):

title: Roles of a Father-to-be!
date: Monday, December 24, 2007 time : 9:51 AM Sad to knows that lot of husbands / Dad-to-be doesn't show much care about their pregnant wife. Pregnancy is seen as mostly a mom thing. Few women believe that Dad really gets it. And the fact is, we mostly don't. We talk about it. We show interest. We empathize (without going overboard). We even try to read about it, at least a little. But let's face it, our experience of having a baby is fairly removed until we're face to face with diapering and sleep deprivation. No dad can possibly relate to the minute-by-minute, close-to-the-heart, kick-in-the-gut reality of carrying a baby to term. But they can participate. They can be there to listen to the first heartbeat, they can swear off their dinner wine, they can pore over the naming books together, and more. For a pregnant wife, the experience of carrying and giving birth to a baby is very exciting but tiring. It is the time where more care and support is needed. Pay attention You can't be pregnant, but you can participate by being an active observer. Let your wife know you're enjoying seeing her belly grow. Feel the baby kick. Play music and read to your baby. Keep track of your baby's development during pregnancy—no doubt you'll be amazed. Go the extra mile Your wife may be intensely demanding. Go with it. She's doing all the heavy lifting. The least you can do is shop for groceries, send her flowers, and indulge her wee hour demands for cottage cheese and strawberry jam. Being a would-be dad, it is essential to give love, affection and care to your pregnant wife starting from conception to delivery. For a pregnant, sometimes, the period of nine months will be full of stress and troubles. As a wife wishes her husband to share every incident that occurs during pregnancy, it is your responsibility to play a supportive role during this high-stress period and try your best to make her free from stress and troubles. Keeping a good communication and sharing the feelings of your pregnant wife about pregnancy helps to reduce the stress and related problems. On the other hand, during pregnancy, the female body undergoes various changes due to hormonal imbalance. As a result, she may experience pregnancy symptoms. Some of these symptoms may continue throughout the pregnancy. A proper prenatal care can reduce these symptoms and develop a healthy environment for your wife and baby during these nine months. So, follow these helpful tips to provide proper prenatal care to your pregnant wife. Taking care of her health (mentally and physically) is very important. So, consult your doctor regularly and follow the prenatal visits as per the doctor’s recommended schedule. Encourage your pregnant wife to eat a proper diet on timely basis, as it reduces the symptom of nausea (if any). The diet for a pregnant should include a variety of nutritious foods such as vitamins, minerals, fats, proteins, carbohydrates, and lots of water. Focus on eating calcium, iron and folic acid foods, as they help prevent birth defects and provides healthy environment for the baby. Remember that sharing her pregnancy diet is very helpful in making your pregnant wife follow and maintain the diet. On the other hand, try to implement a simple exercise routine (walking, swimming) and direct her to practice regularly, so that your pregnant wife may feel more healthy and energetic all the day. Exercising regularly helps tone her muscles and provides a healthy baby with safe delivery. Try to provide a peaceful environment for your wife by sharing happiest moments or listening to her favorite music. Ask her to take a short rest during the day, if she is still working. Share her responsibilities in domestic duties. As a husband, spend more time with your wife by playing an active role in the kitchen or in other duties. Be understanding. Try to cheer her up when depressed, calm her down when irritated, and be affectionate when she feels insecure. Guiding and encouraging your pregnant wife during pregnancy is one of your main duties as a husband. Labels: Pregnancy, Roles of a Father, Words for you 3 Comment(s):
