Do you panic when you get that unexpected gush whilst you are sitting and worry to stand up cause it may have already stained your pants or skirt? Do you get frustrated having the need to check your bedsheet and undies the next morning only to find that it is in a total mess? Do you always feel uncomfortable wearing sanitary pads?

If so, then this is really for you.

Same for me, there is always a time of the month whereby I feel very insecure and uneasy cause leakage happened, and it often stained my undies. So the worry of period leakage always makes me feel extremely conscious that I will always check my pants/skirt on those heavy flow days. And I hate feeling like I have a diaper on or that something is there.

What am I really looking for in a sanitary pad?

1) Strong Adhesive Wings

I always prefer winged pads, I feel like it covers more area. I need wings, because for some brands I had tried, the edges of the wingless pad doesn't stay down, and the pad would bunch up too narrow, ended up I will have the fabric around the edge of my underwear stained. Horror!

But winged pad has its problems too.

I believe many girls like me have problems with the adhesive as it doesn’t stay in place after a while. The wing always ends up scratching my skin and sticking on me or just comes off from the underwear and gets stuck together on the underside. Once that happens, the bond seems to be near unbreakable, causing all sorts of issues. It’s really irritating.

On Kotex LUXE Ultrathin: The side wings are designed in a unique shape and right size for a more secure and brilliant fit and its adhesive is so strong that it won’t stick together on the underside or stick to the skin. It is very soft and didn't scratch my skin too. After a few hours of using, the wings are still nicely and fully adhere to the underwear. IMPRESSED!!

2) Excellent and Fast Absorption

When we talk about leakage, absorbency is what we look for first. The faster the fluid is absorbed, the better it is to reduce backflow and leakage! Which is what I experienced from the other brands after a few hours (on heavy flow days) or when I get that sudden gush whilst I’m on my seat or lying on the bed. If it doesn’t get absorbed well and fast enough, the blood stays on the surface of the pad, and it makes me really uncomfortable. For all brands I had used in the past, the fluid tends to travel over and out of the side of the wings, and thus I get bloodstains over my pants, creating a mess, so embarrassing!

On Kotex LUXE Ultrathin: Although they are thin, the absorbency of the pad is great and it can absorb very quickly compared to all other brands I have ever used. The honeycomb design locks the flow in to prevent backflow and maintains a constant dryness. I love the dryness of nets, it is soft and didn’t cause any skin irritation to my skin and the cottony sides make me feel so comfortable wearing it. It is also designed with side gathers (Surround Lock Protector) - a surrounding embossed star-contours which acts as a shield to provide additional security and leakage protection. I feel safe wearing it throughout the night, I can toss and turn in bed without worrying about sudden leakage attacks and it makes me feel the pad is barely there. This is really the pad that will help you realise that overnight period leakage is never your fault

3) Keeps me safe throughout my sleep

Night leakage has always been one of my most hated because somehow my pads would always "shift" sideways (especially the back half of the pad) when I’m sleeping and the next morning I would see myself in a total mess! Stain on my undies, pajamas and worst on my bedsheet. It's like OMG!! I need to clean up the mess and change the bedsheet, and please…. not when I need to attend to a wakey kid and have to rush to work. :’(

I also like how they designed it to have the lining glued to the outer wrapper, it makes the unwrapping so easy and convenient for us.

My first purchase from Innisfree, just got it 2 weeks ago.

So far only tried 2 of the products.

👉 the Green Tea Pure Gel Hand Cream, very refreshing gel type wrinkle care hand cream with organic Jeju green tea components that moisturize and softening my skin without leaving any stickiness feeling at all. It absorbs quickly and create a protective layer yet non-sticky, really great for someone like me who dislikes applying hand cream. Skin looks smoothen and hydrated. It smells really refreshing and calming with a really nice scent, I love it

👉 Come to makeup, I can't go without this Eco Beauty Tool - Perfect Fitting Roller anymore.

This is super cool though have to roll in all directions of your face to enhance the skin texture. It blends in my liquid foundation seamlessly, give me a super natural and perfect looking skin. Now I would said 'foundation applicator tool' do make a difference in giving a perfect looking skin. This just works so amazingly to me, for me who has flaky skin always. It had replaced my beauty blender sponge now.

I had mine in med size. I really adored its simplistic design, with an adjustable strap to wear multiple ways and with minimal hardware, so it is super lightweight to carry around all day.

It's also roomy enough to fit in all my stuff (long wallet, cosmetic pouch, healthy snack and water bottle or even some kids' stuff. It also come with a small little pouch strap to it.
Despite the weight, this bag still holds its shape, and even when it is empty.
Really great quality and sturdy.
And the idea of contrasting with red interiors lining, make it so pretty and tempting.

Really a good size for my everyday essentials.

Never would spend so much on a nail polish coz I won't keep it for long

as I always remove my nail polish whenever I've to prepare meal.

But the packaging is so luxe

and the colour, Bamboo White is so gorgeous -

a off-white nude with a hint of pink, so pretty that it says, pick me up or you will regret.

I got it 20% discounted during the Sephora private sales.

Retail price at SGD$39

After trying on, the formula did won over.

1) Though the first coat did gives me a lovely tint but it did streak a little but after 2nd coats, it is completely opaque, smooth and even; perfect finish with no streaks. ❤️

2) Most amazing part I like is its self-leveling 'stretch to fit' feature of brush, it is wide so it is easy to stay on the nails and get to the edges without going over as it fans out just so nicely on my nails.

3) Dries very fast, really add a brownie point for a mom like me who can't wait with kids around

I didn't use basecoat or topcoat (didn't have timers wait for all of that to dry) and am very hard on my hands with all sorts of work, yet today on the 2nd days, I didn't see a single chip or scratch line yet which never happens on most other polishes alone. 👍

Now, it is part of my everyday skincare routine as a prevention too.

I apply and massage Detox Cream onto my cleansed face and neckline in the evening as a night cream. Though it has a creamy texture but it is silky smooth

and when I apply the cream to my face, my skin does not feel sticky. It also helps to prevent water/moisture loss while sleeping in air conditioned rooms because of its high moisture binding capacity. I’ll wake up with skin looking more supple with increased vitality the next day.

As my skin tends to get oilier in the humid day time, I use Detox Formula,

as it has a much lighter texture

Most importantly - these do not clog my pores or irritate my skin. I just started using but I could feel my skin complexion improving. It does leave my complexion looking slightly more even, supple (not too dry or oily), smoother and more radiant than before.

As I don’t have any age spots yet to see a result on that but I believe this can be a really good product to prevent age spots with regular use. I am very happy and pleased with Janssen Trend Edition DETOX Cream and DETOX Formula.

I don't have a habit of combing my hairs for many years

as I really hate it ESP after shampoo my hairs, I will get those giant tangled knots after coming out of the shower.

This is most girls’ problems right!

I have hair almost down to my waist and it is thick n' wavy, so it is badly and easily tangled, I always shed ridiculous amounts of hairs whenever I comb my hairs with other brushes/ even big wide tooth combs.

Not only that, it hurts my scalp

Same for both my daughters, whose hair is long, thick and with many damaged strands from all the pulling they got from other combs - their hair get tangles and break easily. They have a very tender scalp and so brushing or combing her hair isn’t my favorite thing to do, they will be whining about getting their hair tugged on when they have a tangle and many times they cries when my helper/I comb their hair, even though we try to be really gentle.

And so this brush has been a god-sent hair-saver for my daughters and me.

I only started to comb my hair daily after my BFF, Valerie, gifted this “Lil Wet Brush” to me a few months back to try. She got it from one of the beauty shop near her place.

I must said this squirt size “Lil Wet Brush” is so freaky amazing n' awesome that I quickly got my bff to help me buy again and also get few more so I can gift it to my BFFs to try

and almost all of their feedback were very good!!

Ever since then, it makes the combing of my girls' hair a breeze, no more of their screaming of pain.

This Wet Brush does not pull/tug at my hair, damage my strands and shed lot of hairs the way other brushes do, yet the bristles are able to detangle any knot on my entire hairs with EASE, from root to tip.

The bristles aren't stubborn and firm! It has the, thin, strong and very brilliance INTELLIFLEXibility of the bristles - flexible on one stroke and firm on the next, that doesn't pull/tug and yet it can run smoothly through the hair and detangles virtually pain free with its softips.
Ours hair won't shed and break as much!!!

I’m also now able to brush my daughters’ hair relatively quickly and painlessly. It was so gentle on the hair and scalp and makes the combing and detangling the hair knots really a breeze. No pulling and it just went thought the hair, getting rid of the knots very quickly.

Pros:

- For all types of hairs: great for wet hair right out of the shower or dry, thick or thin, curly or straight; the tangles come out easily

- Boasting less damage and pain-free combing than other combs/brushes

- Very handy and portable, great for keeping one in the bag

- Suitable for wigs and extensions also.

- It has SofTips, which are twice dipped, ultra soft and hence to be extra gentle, ideal for sensitive scalps.

Cons:

Nil

So this is even so much better than the “Hair Bean” brush that I tried before, really can’t fight with this. Valerie actually bought a Regular size one for me too. But that is not as good as this Squirt size which we love most.

We all LOVE the Lil Wet Brush!

I truly feel that this is a must-have product for all women and mother whose daughter with a hair length.

And no more troubling of my friend to help me get this Wet Brush.
Cause just last week, I saw that they were selling in Watsons now, and I were so happily bought another 4 right off the rack (one for myself in my daily bag, one for placing at my in-law house when we stay overnight and another 2 to keep).

It comes in different material and pretty colors like pink, purple, yellow, green is just a bonus.
