A human no matter how healthy the diet you eat, how much the organic food you eat; if you didn't follow the following eating rules, IT IS USELESS!!

So this is what I ensure when I come to eating my meal --------
  • Proper Quantity (3 quarter full)
  • Eat only when previous meal has been properly digested (hunger)
Make sure is Stomach hunger and not mind hunger
  • Must have all 6 tastes (sweet, sour, bitter, salty, Astringent and Pungent) in a meal
The 6 Tastes offer us a user-friendly guide map for how to nourish ourselves. Rather than looking at nutritional labels for X amount of protein or Y amount of carbohydrates, the 6 Tastes naturally guide us towards our body’s nutritional needs.
Each taste feeds our mind, body, senses, and spirit in its own unique way. From a modern nutritional perspective, the 6 Tastes satisfy each of the major dietary building blocks. Sweet foods, for example, are rich in fats, proteins, carbohydrates, and water, whereas Bitter and Astringent foods are high in vitamins and minerals.
The brain sends the body signals when it requires energy in the form of food. By incorporating all 6 Tastes into each meal, we ensure that these signals are adequately met, thus avoiding food cravings or the over-consumption of certain foods..
Including the 6 tastes in each meal doesn’t need to be a daunting task. Adding a squeeze of lemon to cooked dishes, for example, can quickly satisfy the Sour taste, while adding a side salad will fulfill the Bitter and Astringent tastes.

  • Eat approximately same time everyday
  • Prepare the food with love
Cook food with energy love and the food will natural being healthy. That's why people said the best healthy food is what a mother cooks with love for the children. So if your mom is the one cook who cook for you, the kids are the most blessed one.
  • Don't eat when emotionally upset (Hard to digest hence the food become toxic)
  • Focus on eating and chew well before swallow in the food
  • Don't eat after 8pm or 4 hours before going to sleep
Not many people know that red meat (pork, beef) take 8 hours to digest.
Imagine you eat red meat during the dinner and the meat need at least 8 hours to digest. So meaning when you sleep, your digestive system is still working hard when it is supposed to be resting. Over sometime there will be problem with your digestive system and breakdown.
I think this is my problem, my digestive system already breakdown. The above eating rules, most are what I'm doing in the past and I alway eat supper and then went to sleep.

So all these are a NO NO for me and my kids now!
