date: Wednesday, January 09, 2013 time : 12:12 PM  Dad bought me a bottle of D.O.M again ♥, he must be worrying sick about me being still so skinny and always look so tired especially these few months; working so hard on housechore, rushing, cooking, teaching and handling difficult children of mine, wanna me 补一补。And as usual brought up again... asking me to hire maid again, saying if it is a financial burden, he will pay for me. Unable to describe how much they doted and loving their children. Unconditional love!! 😘😘. Well, as usual my reply to them is the stress and worries more than anything else. I don't want double attack; stress from both work and maid. But I do tell them I'm considering it since it will be hard on Amabel to concentrate in afternoon class if she is to wake up early to before/after school care. I can't be that selfish now. Already shortlisted 2 maids and waiting for them to be back to training centre so I can get to interview them. Hopefully I can get a less problem one like my last previous maid. How I wish I can be a housewife, no worries and stress from maid, no stress from work. Like the past 1 weeks am on leave, helping Amabel to adapt to primary school life, life is extremely good, prepare breakfast for my girl, housechore then cook lunch and prepare to send my girl to school by bus then back doing housechore and nap with my younger girl, wake up continue to do housechore then fetch my girl from school, back cooking, handling my girls and housework again, at least I still can get a few hours nap and go do some marketing or shopping if I want to. The first 3 days I do stay in Amabel's school for the talks arranged by the school then watching Amabel during her recess (will blog about it soon). So now am back to square, weekend and off day are all that I'm waiting for, so much easier than having to work. Work stress with different difficult peoples to deal with and back home still have to finish and handle everything in just a few hours and having to wake up damn early. date: Friday, March 07, 2008 time : 8:25 AM Suddenly feel like taking pics of my working area. It used to be very messy with lot of paper clip, documents, files, staples, and paper lying all over my HUGE working desk. Yestersday I tidy it up, and it now look very much neater to present to everyone. Wahaha~   Real big working space + desk right?   I bought Amabel for her 18-months assessment and vaccination a few days ago. She weighted 9.3kg and standing 80cm. This girl, she seems to be very brave when having her vaccinations. The most she will cry for a few secs and stop, there is once she didn’t even cry or make a single sound. She is tough… just like me. but I know that she is still scare of injection. Or scare of Dr Edmund Koh? Haha! Why I would say that… cause that day, once we enter the PD consult room, she out of the sudden clasp me in her arms. I wanna put her down on the examination couch, she refused and whine. As if the PD will eat her up. Aiyo kids are really clever nowadays, they know what is gonna happened. After that, Huihui came to meet us and accompanied me for my follow up with the Chinese Physician for some 安胎药 （tonic). And my girl seems to like the Phyisican, when the physician wanna to cuddle her, she never show any rejection. Amabel embrace her and gave her a contagious smile. The Physician happy till like wanna fly. Haha~ And that day, father-in-law brewed a very big pot of chicken tonic for me. It is really yummy and I finished all. I never doubt his cooking skill. His confinement dishes is so yummy too. k Now more about my precious; Here some update on her milestones. See her previous too Weaning After today, it will be 10 days Amabel goes without the pacifier. But she is grouchy whenever she want to sleep. It is really difficult to coax her sleep at night now. Hope everything will be fine soon. Amabel’s list of words and comprehension She is now start learning things, words and actions from the surrounding peoples. So now we have to be much careful about our behaviour and language. She everyday is picking up new words. Sometime you will be surprise how they get to know the word and said it out in the right way. Too many new words she just learn to be listed out here. Here is what i remember now; Jump, Car (which is know quite some time ago), Yes, No, shoes, Eye, Ear, Nose, toe, leg, mouth, teeth, cheek, raining, bread, hairs, barney, elmo, come. sorry Good habit She will keeps her shoes in the cabinet, sometimes she will forget but will do it when we ask too. Talent? She loves music; she will dance with the music. Sometimes she will sing along with the song. Her action is just so cute. We always on the music in the car for her. So now once she board the car, she will request us to turn on the CD player. Hubby said wanna bring her to learn music and dance/ballet when she is bigger. But I am more into letting her learn piano and ballet. Will not force her but let her choose which she likes. There is once raining, we are bringing her out and she saw the umbrella in the shoe cabinet, she took it out and asked me to bring along. Clever! Other funny actions and incident happened She can play with anything; sometimes she will play with the toddler’s umbrella stroller, go get her barney and put it in the stroller and push the barney ard the whole house. Then put a bag on the stroller hanger and push the stroller as if like she is shopping just like what she often see her mom did. Another funny incident happened were, that day morning when her wake up, she saw her 大姑 姑 and called her “wei wei”. Her 大姑 姑 replied in an angry tone: “ Why you call me wei wei? I am ur 姑 姑 leh. She very fast react by saying "Sorry" to her and with her hand placing on her forehead (a sign of apology) . Haha! make everyone laugh! Ok that is all on her update. . . . . Hubby drove us to takashimaya baby fair yestersday night. Pics taken at takashimaya. So many poses     The Lego And I scolded Hubby for buying lotions and shower gel for Amabel again... He likes to buy expensive and good lotion, cream, shower and hair cleanse for her. I told him we already got so many and he replied: "Girl must take care of her skin mah, if boy I heck care liao lor." Haha Amabel luckily you are a girl. And also a few other stuffs which i never take pic of. Walked for just afew hours, my legs are aching. Just like what Dr Khi said, I may lack of calcium caused by breastfeed. So need to take 2 tablet of calcium supplement daily and milk, but it didn't help very much. I can't really walk too long without resting my legs for this pregnancy compare to when I'm expecting Amabel, which I walked whole day also no problem. Hai... feel so weak. date: Saturday, August 25, 2007 time : 4:45 PM Huihui and her mom is at Eu Yan Seng Chinese Medical branch and just called me to ask about information on some tonics cause she is intending to buy. Wondering why she called me as if I am expert in these. I would said I am just very particular about health. Anything that's good for health I will eat. And I told her that I'll give her a bottle of Korea Dong Chung Ha Cho (冬蟲夏草) to try. Just yesterday, I have also given Aunty Sereen one bottle of Korea Ginseng Extract Gold to try since she quite wanted to try eating tonic to boost up her heath. After I ended the call with Huihui, I go and dig out all the tonic i gotten from Korea and discovered that I still got afew bottles of Ginseng extract, powder and Dong Chung Ha Cho (冬蟲夏草) . date: Sunday, April 09, 2006 time : 1:32 PM Last Friday, chatted with Aunty Huihui in msn (online chatting messenger), and i given her this diary webby to read. She were touched to tear whilst reading. She expressed her happiness and wishes to us. Thanks Aunty Huihui for the wishes and prayer! Thanks aunties Liling, Sereen, Meiqi, Valeries for their concerns and cares too! Sincerely thanks everyone.... You must know that before you came into this world, there are already many ones feeling the joy to your arrival. Mummy have been praying for you everyday also. Praying that you are living well in that comfortable and cosy area. I will try my very best to protect you. Have drank tonics brewed by your grandfather for the past few days - Home-brew chicken essence - Bird nest with Paosheng(American Wild Ginseng). date: Thursday, March 30, 2006 time : 7:29 PM Heard about lot of myths to predict the gender of unborn baby: 1. if you like to dress up yourself pretty pretty, then probably will be having a baby girl.. but if you simply hate to dress up.. didn't bother to put on any makeup, then probably baby boy... this is old mother's tale. 2. if having girls, the mother will be very pretty and radiant. If having boys, the mother will look very tired and nose swollen. 3. but some other people subscribed to the entirely opposite school of thought. Some say if having girls, the mother will not be pretty cause the girl will take away the mother's beauty, while if boys, mother will be radiant. heheheee...so funny. 4. if you dont look preggie from behind, you will probably have a boy and vice vesa. cause some people say if boy, tummys are pointier (more defined), while girl tummys are rounder. My gynae said i might be having a girl, but my figure look from behind still very perfect leh. Scratch head~ Boy or gal is the same to me now, as long as you are healthy. Still hoping to know your gender on next appointment so that can buy somethings for you and settle on your Christian name too.. Must talk to you more before the appointment.. Open your legs BIG BIG!! Most of the Sgmotherhood(forum) chatmate are going to take up the antenatal class in Jun or Jul 06. Is it too early? They mentioned that it's good to take slightly early cause they teach antenatal exercise which i can start put it to use as soon as i learnt it. Will check it out the classes dates in TMC then. Stop when 6th week pregnant as it is too heaty. 2) Home-brew chicken essence - Once only. Brewed by your Grandfather. 3) Bird nest (Bottle, bought from 'Lao Han Jia'), costed $600 over - Since 12th week pregnant 4) Paosheng powder(American Wild Ginseng), costed $250 for one month supply - Daddy bought from 'Eu Ren San' for Mummy to 'bu' yesterday only. Today just started, need to eat i teaspoon every morning. Got to buy powder form cause Mummy don't know how to brew. 5) Red Dates and Guo Qi Zi to brew with water (known to be good for baby complexion and to 'bu gi' and 'ti shen' )- Bought yesterday also but not yet brew to drink.
