title: Update:- My healthy diet
date: Sunday, February 17, 2013
time : 11:20 PM

Today I get a quality sleep of 10 hours!! Feeling so great!

Supposed to go PIL house to pray today but I decided not to go cause I knew that it will last till very late in the night. I need to sleep early tonight as tomorrow start work already.

Well, this was.... I think my 3rd weeks without the need to do salicylic peels for acnes. Skin cleared up very well, no more active acnes, scars all heal pretty fast, just a little browish scar. With the skincare, once a month peel and hopefully the needle roller that I just tried, work wonder on those scars too.

Extremely happy, healthy diet and those supplement, quality sleep really work wonder. Healthy diet, inside out to skin.

I wanna baby skin soon! 😊😊

Saved me a few hundred bucks on the used to be weekly peel but I spent lot of money on organic food, veggies and fruit.

Marketing expenses shot up double or even more. But we are all eating extremely healthy now, my girls are also eating even more healthy from the past....now all totally organic including their formula milk and whole milk.

So I'm in the midst of transiting to vegan hahaha... Well not totally yet since I'm still allowed to eat fish but unless its organic or cold water fish like salmon and tuna (highly beneficial for their essential fatty acids) can and even should be consumed, but in moderation as a condiment and preferably in their raw form (sashimi).

Other fish I should try to avoid; they used to be the ideal source of clean and balance protein but now are almost unsafe to consume because of mercury and other toxic metals found in our oceans and lakes.

The following are unhealthy food I have been stop eating for weeks except those 3 days CNY which I do eat alittle maybe >

1) Refined carbohydrates (white flour, white rice) and refined, puffed or extruded grains (any type of cereals, puffed rice and bran)

These ingredients, once refined, are peeled out of their precious and nutritious pulp filled with vitamins and minerals. These foods become a glue-like, stretchy substance; they clog your digestive tract, resulting in toxic buildup, polluting your blood, suppressing your immune system in long run and spike your insulin levels, contributing to candida overgrowth.

Now my source of carbohydrates are substitute with
- organic brown rice (long version) in moderation or
- quinoa (whole non-gluten grains)

Gonna buy another two type of whole non-gluten grain (Amaranth and buckwheat) which I can substitute with to try.

2) White sugar - The Sweet Poison (and other sweeteners)
White sugar is a 100% chemical element unrecognized by your body. It practically robs your body of vitamins and minerals. When consumed, white sugar causes blood sugar levels to increase dramatically and quickly. The pancreas produces extra amounts of insulin to help the body metabolize the glucose in the sugar. This extra insulin quickly causes low blood sugar levels, which results in low energy and fatigue. In over-consumption of sugar, this process cab also lead to diabetes.

But that's not all. When sugar is consumed, the body also produces other androgenic hormones to metabolize the glucose. These extra androgenic hormones place stress on the liver and create hormonal imbalance. Furthermore, the liver converts sugar into long-chain fats that pollute your blood.

Sugar can also damage the immune system (compromising the defense against bacteria), produce an acidic stomach environment, cause food allergies, increase the size of liver (disrupt it from filtering toxins and used hormones), and encourage bad bacteria development in the colon.

So I totally stop eating sweets and all those soft drinks or juice syrup

I were guaranteed that staying away from white sugar; that includes all sodas, sweetened fruit drinks, beverages containing fructose (except whole fruit) and my body will reward me as twice as much

3) Conventional Dairy products
Diary products (especially cow's milk) cause allergies, create heavy mucus, and they clog your digestive tracts as they become glue once they enter your bowels.

It is also loaded with hormones injected into the animals in order to increase their capacity to produce milk.

Diary products are filed with growth factors, pesticides and antibiotics which are destructive to your body and hormonal balance.

High consumption of dairy products has been linked to heart disease, ovarian cancer, infertility, and to hardened, narrowed arteries, cardiovascular disease and possibly type 1 diabetes.

Milk is also pasteurized, a process that converts the sugar in milk into beta-lactose, which absorbs faster in the blood and has similar effect on boast as sugar. The pasteurization process also destroys enzymes, diminishes vitamin content and make the calcium in milk insoluble. And so yes, milk can cause bad teeth and osteoporosis, no matter what you may have grown up to believe.

So now I'm drinking only nut milks (sesame, almond etc) and rice milks

4) Conventional Red meat and fatty meat
Red meat (beef, pork, bacon, turkey, hot dogs, sausage etc) contains very harmful toxins, their hard to digest protein causes lots of digestion problems and allergies.

It also contain antibiotic, harmful hormone, growth factors and virus and diseases the animal may have had, resulting in a disruption of hormonal imbalance and blood toxins.

If can eliminate it completely from diet else go for organic meat and only consume small potions at a time

5) Processed and fabricated foods
Avoid ready-packed meal which unusually contain a large list of unidentified chemical, msg and all chemicals added to food to 'improve' the taste , colour, texture.

So no more the yummy maggie mee, 7-11 ready microwave convenient meal and tibits :(

6) Alcohol
It is very toxic to body; it can cause liver dysfunction.

7) Caffeine
It is known to over-stimulate the production of hormones, leasing to hormonal imbalance.
I have stopped my fav coffee bean ice-blended mocha too :(

I have gone through this far now and being eating healthy seems to be a lot of work for me as I have to cook all meals when I'm not working and if working as usual I got to rush back home to cook. But ever since I changed my diet, I feel so great from inside out! I just hope it has start helping on my hormonal imbalance.

Eating healthy is not when you start having health condition but do it before it starts attack you.

Most importantly get quality amount of sleep daily.

I feeling so awesome nowadays despite that, on and off I do get a bit anxiety, depress, agitated due to the hormonal

I'm great now!

But I think my girl are kanna sad that no more sweet and junk food for them. I used to control that to very minimum (as i can't out when it is out of my vision), but now to zero as far as I can control.

Seriously in the past already can't tolerate people keeps give kids eat junk food or eat food late at night (not to say wee hour). Especially if I knew a mother letting their kids having this habit, really make me shake my head. Sorry to say that...It's concern their health, be it now or later part of their life, such a gentle stomach now yet being tortured this way, just don't understand why they letting their kids keep eat those junk food.

:) Here my meals and snacks (salads, fruits) which I cooked and prepared for the past few days. All organic and super fresh which I stocked up every 2 days.

Those are what I remember to snap. 😉

Today, the salads prepared for noon snacks, no unhealthy dressing but sprinkled lot of natural healthy organic cashew, sunflower and pumpkin seeds as dressing. Load with vitamin A, C, E. Very yummy!!

Today dinner!
Quinoa to substitute the unhealthy white rice.
Fresh raw veggie salads. It is best to consume veggies in raw

Another past dinner dish; I added flaxseed for its great source of fatty acid, highly valuable nutrients and minerals. Is a wonderful source of digestible protein.

My morning fruits!
I'm quite surprised that not many of you know that fruits should only be eat with empty stomach.

Avocado!!! Very high in fat, but they're high in monounsaturated fat, which is the good fat, the kind of fat that may actually help lower blood cholesterol levels. So it is good!

She mad love it!!
