Went to register for P1 in Boon Lay Garden under Phase 2C Supplementary on the last day of registration,15th Aug. It's not fun going through the need to appeal (Phase 2B) and balloting (Phase2C). Took a number of day of annual leave to get all these done.

We also sought help from MP during 'Meet the people' session, he asked us to write in to him privately. So we wrote an email to request for an aid to grant a place in a primary sch (which is only Shuqun and Rulang) within 1km radius of our house. 


I know everyone will do that and so the appeal may not be easy but we can support with good reasons; the need to take care my MIL's daily routines as she's basically bedridden and the rush to send my younger daughter to and fro the childcare which is already very far (got his reply that as ours is special case, he will try his best to help us, hopefully ours went through). We also put my girl's name under waiting list for both schools right after we failed in getting a place in Phase 2C.

We're trying all means and channels, hoping can get a place in either one. Really feeling stupid for my girl to take schoolbus to school when there are actually 2 schools that are within a 5 mins walking distance. Is like 看的到, 吃不到. WTF right!! This MOE's allocation scheme is really unfair especially to those who staying within 1km.

We're trying our best to do what we can now. The rest will leave it to the god's hand and my girl when entering P1.
