date: Tuesday, February 01, 2011 time : 1:27 AM  My answer would be 'No' I don't think photos are a good reflection of how people really look in person. I've noticed and know people who don't look so great or attractive in photos end up looking much better in real life - so it's not so much that they're ugly, but they just don't look their best in photos. And of course, there are many people who look so good in photos, but they don't really that stand out in-person. I'm one of them, I supposed. As in the photos, there are things like angles, lighting, and photoshop, so even a not so good looking person can look amazingly beautiful with the right tools and angle. Also photogenic people tend to have more angled faces, that create more contrast in pictures. Super photogenic people know which angles and which way to tilt their faces for the camera. That's what makes them look good. You don't have to be pretty to be photogenic, you just need good features at certain angles. Being pretty means you have to have all the features to be proportional to each other. I myself love taking photos of myself because I know I look much better in pictures than in real life or video. I don't know anything about photoshop my face in photos but somehow I just look better in picture on certain angle especially close up photos and with the use of good camera and I knew which angles I will look better. I guess pictures capture just one angle of me whereas in real life you can see many ugly angles of me?! Somehow I wish people remember me as the person in my photos rather than in real life. haha...Sometime I really wish I can paste a photo of me over my face when I go out especially when I'm not in good condition, if not please don't let anyone bump into me who know me as in picture especially when I'm w/o any makeup. :P - Posted using BlogPress from my iPhone Labels: My views 2 Comments:
