Mind sharing ur pumping schedule when aisleyne was 6mth old and 1yo?
I am currently pumping 6x per day, I wonder maybe I can pump lesser when my boy start raking solid food, at the same time also scared that less pumping, supply will drop.
hi charismama, I cant really remember the schedule, I must check my recording book which I kept in my archive room. Erm roughly is I already dragged to 4 or 5 hours interval le.
Something like this but cant really remember the time,
1) abt 6.30am - Latch on then expressing to empty the breast
2) 11.30am - expressing in office
3) 4.30pm - expressing in office
4) 10.30pm - Latch on then expressing to empty the breast
The supply at her 6 months i think is abt 1.2 to 1.4litres.
and when she turns 1 year old, i think i dragged to pumping only 2 times per day with morning and night before she sleep latch on. Supply is about 800litre to 900litre. Cant really remember but is roughly like this.
Gradually drag the pumping interval wont really affect the supply that much as you think. As long as you empty ur breast well enough, with no blocked duct, it wont drop that much de and supply will be back. At least happened on me.
My supply will only drop when I got blocked milk duct if not will only be me who wanna reduce my supply as baby dont need that much anymore since she is on solid.
