date: Friday, September 18, 2009 time : 12:19 PM Aisleyne's milestone development Aisleyne has turned 13 months . Still my chilli padi weighing just 7.58kg. I wasn't very much worry about her weight. She's able to flip when she is 4-months, crawl in 6-months, sit without support and pull to stand with support in 7-months, and stand without support in 10-months. And now walk unaided in 13-months. She had shown interest in going mobile since 9 months. Just two days ago, she proudly show me that she can walk more than just a few steps and even trying to jump. Still remember she starts to attempt to walk by holding onto furniture, bed and sometimes she'd let go and stand there and I could tell she was thinking about walking, but then she drops to the ground and crawl. haha~ I thought she may walk early before she hit 1, worrying that it may not be too good for her bone. whereas some parents often wait eagerly for those first steps. Think about it, walking early doesn't mean your child will be a great athlete, so does walking late doesn't mean they'll end up being clumsy and uncoordinated. They will just walk when they are ready, and if they want to walk early, nothing we can stop them too. Kids have their own timetables, placing too much emphasis on their developmental milestones will not be good. Though for Aisleyne now is still wobbling steps, but she can walk pretty far without fall, but you can see that she is trying very hard to balance every steps. So cute!! Gradually, she will learn to walk with more control in no time, then can change directions and then carry things in her hands as she walk. Amabel gone through the process and now she's bouncing up and down every secs. Which giving us lot headache! Here are videos showing how Aisleyne standing up on her own without any support and then walking wobbly. Making a turn. lol~ Labels: Aisleyne, Milestone, Walking |
