Porridge
Aisleyne is having her first taste of porridge on 12 May 09 when she is going 9 month old.
She has been detesting cereal but she loves all sort of homemade puree and porridge.
And it's so difficult to put her on the seat to make this hyperactive baby to have a proper meal until recently we noticed that a good way to make her sit still to enjoy her meal...
is to play some music at the background.
Aiyo...So young, know how to enjoy liao.

I started her with
1 msp of self grinded brown rice + 1 msp of self grinded japanese rice cooked in 200ml of water to make a full bowl of yummy porridge.

This will goes with a side dishes of veggie / fish / meat (not yet intro this).


She loves eating it and here the mommy is the happiest.


And I introduced her the high protein food: FISH on 17 May 09.
She likes it too. Here a video of it on her fourth day of testing on fish.

Oh yah...
And she's able to drink from a sip bottle.

I got my method of training her, and on the 2nd day, 2nd try, she's able to sip the water from the bottle without any help.

All I need is
1. to has a pigeon sip bottle
2. to fill the bottle FULL with water for the water goes up to her mouth faster
3. my hands to gently press the body of the bottle to give the pressure to make the water goes up faster.
With the above help, this will save one's breath and speedy making her notice that by sipping, the water up will flow into her mouth.
