Baby brings me good luck in my career?

When I broke the new to my boss that I’m going to promote to a mother in 2006 during the TPM. She is very happy for me. And also announced that she have promoted me.

This year came the TPM review/assessment again. I broke the news of expecting 2nd one to my boss a few days before my TPM review/assessment. I thought this time round, boss will be unhappy because of family commitments, as I got two kids to handle with soon. Even she cannot commit to work and changed to part time a few months ago. But to my surprise, she praised my work performance for the past 4.5 years. I’m just doing more than what my job required. She does asked me a few questions; who is gonna take care of my 2 kids and whether I would consider part-time or be a sahm after my delivery. I told her “Nope” I need to work to earn extra income to give my kids the best. And we got the planning of sending Amabel to pre-nursing 1 year+ later and I got maid and in law to help me out. Upon hearing that, she offered me a new much higher rank position. She asked me to consider and try out for it. I told her my concerns, my worries that I cannot cope cause the duties is so new to me and that position require degree in healthcare and financial but I am just a diploma in both Electronic Communication and Business Administrative. Will there an issue from NUS HR? She said she would settle that if I willing to take on the position. She gave me another option; try it out by start learning from her on that job and let her know by May whether I willing to accept the position. I agreed! But which mean during this period I will be overloaded.
Really hope I can cope with it.
