date: Wednesday, October 24, 2007 time : 10:45 AM I had saw lot of Caucasian and Japanese mommies bringing their baby out without any helper. I thought for a while, 'They could do it so can I right". Partly is also because, I wanna get baby Amabel out of the sight of my maid. I have been jealous that she will sometimes clinging to the maid. And I don't want to make the maid feel that without her I cannot survive and handle Amabel. So this day will only be Amabel and me. Ok and we set off to Orchard Road, Takashimaya at about 2pm. It is definitely a challenge for me. Not because without a helper but because without a pram (Amabel don't like to sit in the pram anymore & bringing a heavy pram can be very ma fan also). Can you imagine, I have to carry a baby (if she refuse to walk her own), at the same time a very big and heavy baby bag. But surprisingly, I did it. I really did it. I even managed to prepare her milk with one hand carrying her. And is not easy to carry her, cause she always attracted by surrounding things or peoples, and keep struggling to get out from my arm. And I couldn't let her down the ground to walk, cause she will run and disappear and also I scare that she will fall down / knock on something. Anyway I really enjoy my time with her. Evening time, Sereen and ZL came to meet us for dinner. Then I could relieve a bit with their help in carrying Amabel. Btw, Amabel started walking very well and steadily a few weeks ago. WELL DONE! Aiyo when u told me that day over MSN, I really feel proud of you. And also makes me want to do that more often now!
Bren... you are another mommy who can handle your kid very very well without any helper. I know that you also often bring Arianne out alone. And you are a very good cooker also. I feel so proud of you too. I still got alot to learn from you. Really great to know you.
