date: Tuesday, October 03, 2006 time : 7:06 PM A few days ago I just developed a mild flu and cough, Initially, I were thinking of stop nursing you as I worried I will pass the virus to you. However, I resisted, believing that you would have already exposed to the germs even before I shown any symptoms and of course I want to nurse you as much as I can - I don’t want to lose the bonding that nursing can give to us. But I will still restrict myself from coughing in front of you. True enough, you stayed fit throughout that period. The antibodies my body was producing must have been passed on to you via my breastmilk, thus giving you immunity to the virus. I know that I have made the right choice. Labels: Breastfeeding |
