title: Kiasu Parent - Parent Volunteer!
date: Tuesday, December 14, 2010 time : 1:29 AM Finally completed the Parent Volunteer Registration Form to applied as a PV for my 4 year old girl at the so called best school in our area . 9 pages of documents Submitted the form today before the 2 weeks deadline upon getting the application.   Cracking head to write part of the section where we can impress them to select us. Feel like I'm writing composition, so lengthy.    Now we can only wait for their email on whether we are selected for an interview. I think the whole process are more stressful than job-hunting and interviewing. Kiasu Parent! Hi, i've been following ur blog & i suppose u r staying at west area?? would u mind telling me which sch u apply for ur girl, cos i'm so stress & cracking my brain choosing a gd sch for my girl.. i'm also staying at west area, but upon checking it seems like there's no gd sch in west area; mostly at east side.. thanks for ur advise :P (mayb u can recommend me some other west area schs)
Hi Pauline, In west area Rulang is the best school and it is very popular so it is very difficult to get in, even more difficult to be selected as PV. According to kiasuparent forum, Rulang stands top 10 in Singapore for it academic Excellence Ranking. The next good school in west will be West Grove Primary School. You may want to check it out these two. :)

Good! Your girl is lucky, she can get in easily. But yah location is a big issue cos getting enough sleep in the morning is more impt. Planning to shift? Hee
