title: Poddities NETSUKE for iPhone 4
date: Tuesday, October 05, 2010 time : 2:12 AM I have always used a lanyard strap with my handphone as a security to reduce the chances of dropping it onto the floor, and as I'm a forgetful person ever since I given births. So I have been using lanyard to hang my handphone over my neck. When I changed to iPhone 3 ( now to iPhone 4 though ;) ), there was no way to attach a lanyard strap as there is no lanyard hole on the handset itself. So I had to hook a lanyard strap on the casing instead which somehow not very secure also. And I finally found something that look and work wonder in the youtube and start Google for it. Poddities from Japan has come up with this Poddities NETSUKE for iPhone 4 (there is one or iphone 3 too), an attachment bracket which is made from Hi-polished stainless steel, this is to be attached between the 30 pin port with the two screws. It is pricey though, but I desperately need it so without much hesitation, I proceeded with the order and within a few days it delivered to me all the way from JAPAN...  Poddities NETSUKE package for iPhone 4 . Package contains a lanyard attachment bracket, custom screwdriver and two longer screws.  Instruction manual.   Using the attached screwdriver to remove the original screw.  Poddities NETSUKE for iPhone 4 attached. Using the attached screwdriver and install the fastener, tighten it.  Done  Poddities NETSUKE for iPhone 4 with a lanyard. Tried putting on the lanyard strap and accesories. This is very securely attached to the handset.  Close up view of the Poddities NETSUKE (lanyard attachment bracket).      Power and data plug, no obstruction you can charge and/or sync your iphone 4 with this connected so you dont have to worry about it interfering with any o the functions or your iphone 4   The video I saw in youtube, how the Poddities NETSUKE was attached. the swarosvki crystals chanel casing is I do it myself, so much more durable than the cheap one selling outside, though total I spent is slightly more exp cos of the swarosvki crystals and glue I used. Those high end custom made, the service provided by digiskin one, costed abt $600 for iphone3, of cos the workmanship better la. My skill not bad too. ;p lol~

actually is quite difficult for me to calculate the total it cost, cause the swarosvki crystals i bought is in big pack so after I done there is still alot left over but if to estimate the one i did for iphone 3 is about $30-40 for the crystal ba. But for my case it costed more cause I specially went to digiskin to do a Chanel Logo's skin which will cost about $70 le before I stick on the crystal. To save cost, you can go online copy the Chanel logo and trace it on tracing paper, just that i find it more troublesome. I just got another Chanel logo skin from digiskin again for my iphone4. *wink*
Btw I don't do for others :( cos I don't have so much time to do it just to earn $$. And i have kids to look after. Do it yourself, it a fulfillment! Give it a try and let me know yay! ^_^

Oh dear but still congrats you get iphone 4, :) at least the latest model now. It won't scratch the phone cause it is screwed firmly to the bottom of the iphone. But you have to keep the original screw and also the screwdriver, so just in case you need to remove it. I find it useful and more secure, i still feel worth the price. :D
