title: A better CHOICE
date: Saturday, May 15, 2010 time : 1:42 AM 1st day in childcare Aisleyne entered childcare on 10 May 2010, before she turns 21-months on the fifteen. So which childcare is that? Of course one that I trust, feels comfortable with and make me and my kids feel like a home. Non other than her sister's childcare "KinderCorner2" I love the environment there, beautiful greeny scenery, with a rainbow pond after a rain, birds singing lovely song. lol~ I can smell the trees, the fresh air. I think it's really a good and healthy environment for the kids, good explores to nature. At least twice a week, the children will bring for a stroll at the park, get close to nature. their outdoor playground If daddy not free to pick the kids up, I will need to walk from NUH then here all the way to the childcare which will take me about 10mins. Aisleyne 1st day in childcare; in the school bus ferry the children from NUH to Science Park II. All of us were so excite, even in-law want to tag along to cheer for her. hehe! Supposedly need to assemble at the music room, every morning there is a assembly; having some workout, story telling, music but Aisleyne refused to involve. She is more interested with the toys. Teachers said don't force her, let her get familiar with the environment first and slowly adapt. Monday's morning outdoor activity will be sandplay / waterplay. Didn't let Aisleyne joins them as I didn't bring her towel for bath after the sandplay. Girl, no worry, there is plenty of chances. She is happily singing the song "Rain.rain, go away!" Aisleyne ran to her sister's classroom while they're still in the assembly. Cannot resist the toy blocks temptation. This is her sister's Class Birthday Chart, can spot Amabel? her cheeky jiejie, love this photo of her taken by the teacher. ![]() Aisleyne keeping the blocks, singing 'Pick up! Pick up! Everybody do the same" she loves singing! Oh she is their chinese teacher reading storybook to them. I feel that she is very good. I obvious her and other few playground teacher for 3 days and many time when i go fetch my #1. Can see that she loves the kids, friendly, can really click with the children, same for the other teachers. I am ok and comfortable with her, compare to those playground teacher I saw at few other childcare who is a little impatient and rough with the children. She's trying to do things pretty fast and well while she still having to keep a look out at the children as she is handling playgroup children, which need alot of attention. She cannot 慢慢来, as the next sec nobody will know what the kid is doing next. So I can clearly understand and won't expect 100% perfect from the teacher. Most important they love the kids. I'm an very understanding parent, I put myself in their shoes. I salute their patience and care they showered. haha, how come like that colour one?! self-entertaining 11.15am is playgroup lunch time, she want to try self-feed. At home and in childcare, she's really behaving differently. Still hyperactive and curious over things but at least she can sit down properly to have her lunch. phew! this is her timetable Cause it is Aisleyne 1st day in childcare, I accompanied her throughout the day and I took them back home after they woke up from nap. Don't want to let her stay throughout the day, for such a long hours, may frighten her. So we left at 3pm 2nd day in childcare In the school bus During assembly, where all the kindercorner II student get together every morning Having breakfast; French Toast then getting use to wash hand before and after food too In the playground after playing in the playground, teachers brought the children for a nature walk Amabel's classmates, they very cute, kept saying "Amabel's mommy" and waving and said "hello" to me. uber cute!!! Johnathan and Alton 2nd day, decided to only accompany her for a few hours, so I left after her lunch. Surprisingly, she didn't cry. When I back at 3.30pm, she is still asleep. I love watching little kid sleeping. Uber cute! such an angelic face!!! After their afternoon snack, I bought them back home at 4pm. I slowly extend the hours each day so Aisleyne won't get frighten when I back to work on Thursday which we can only fetch them after 6pm. I don't feel is good to suddenly let her stay too long till 6pm+, later she may think I won't come to bring her home. So I slowly extend the time, the next day (3rd day) i will can fetch her at 5pm. hee~ before going back home, they still playing... 3rd day in childcare Early in the morning was very pissed off with the stupid Comfort cabby, made me scream at them. I booked a taxi, I reached downstairs 5 mins after the call, the driver made me waited for another 5mins, when I called the customer service, the driver had actually cancelled the booking, so angry!! They claimed that the taxi driver wait for awhile nv see me then he went off. WTH! even if that, they should give us a call to inform, usually i will receive an automate call to say that the taxi had arrive or a call from the taxi driver. They should inform us rather than letting us wait. Why we book cab, because we are rushing with time. Cannot control my agitation but to scream at them, cause they want me to wait for another taxi to come which take another 7 to 10mins. Damn it! like that I walk all the way down to the main road is even faster, I told them I don't want to book another cab to wait again and I hung up. When I got into another taxi I hired at the main road, I received a automated call saying that another taxi had arrive. More angry, cause I already told the operator, I don't need their taxi anymore, yet came another one, straight away I call them to scold them. Stupid right! Luckily we still managed to catch the school bus. Johnathan was so cute, wearing the spiderman outfit to school. haha! I still following them taking the school bus and I dropped them in the childcare, just stay for less than an hour, I feel that is time for me to let go exactly like what I did when Amabel first entered the childcare. So what to keep the mommy occupy while waiting outside the childcare till is time to bring the kids home at 5pm. Haha I'm well prepared!!! Eat snack (I went to the nearby hostal supermarket, to buy some snack ), write and iphone surfing net. Decided not to went back homw to rest or go enjoy myself with a shopping, I stay at the lobby outside the childcare So I can on and off peep to see how my girls behaving, is she adapting well, is she happy and whether her teachers taking care the kids well. Just like what I did when Amabel entered the childcare. when I'm on the way back to the lobby (place where I sit and to wait for my girls till 5pm), I saw Aisleyne was in the outdoor playground with her classmates.I peeped from far to the outdoor playground, Aisleyne was playing and popping the bubbles happily with her friends and teachers. She's enjoying herself in the childcare.I feel that I really made a better choice; putting her in childcare than leaving her under the maid care. Then I saw the teachers brought them to the nature park for a walk again. Can spot Aisleyne? They are on the way back to the childcare. I hide myself, made sure she didn't see me.Can hear Aisleyne singing softy? She must be enjoying Then this mommy like spider women, peeped at her outside the childcare from the window. It's their lunch now! Am surprise to see her sit down, self-feeding. I stand outside looking at her for almost 20mins, she is behaving so well, she NEVER behave so well at home, so difficult to make her sit down to have a proper meal. I think hubby will be happy to see this video. This is where I stand to peep at both my girls. Aisleyne having her lunch while Amabel finished her lunch and was sitting with her English Teacher Mrs Sania, doing her school work. Amabel must be very happy and excited that her sister is in the same school as her. She kept running over to her meimei classroom to look for us. I went in to pick them up at 5pm+, Aisleyne and Amabel was so excited. Amabel ran to me and hug me whereas Aisleyne stretched her hands and said "mommy bao bao (carry)". Love them!! hee~ 4th day in childcare, is the day I back to work and Aisleyne has to take the school bus with her jiejie without mommy accompany. I called the principallate morning to ask whether she is doing well in the school bus and childcare. She said Aisleyne was adapting very well, didn't cry after the school bus drove off. She's quite surprise and comment that Aisleyne is very independent. phew! this took me hours to upload photos and videos. Time to sleep! Night everyone! Labels: childcare, My Gallery, My Video |
