date: Thursday, February 18, 2010 time : 10:03 PM Universal Studios Singapore The largest Universal Studio theme park outside Hollywood is located in Singapore, inside Resorts World Sentosa with four hotels, a casino, huge shopping and entertainment mall. Finally we have a wonderland to visit in Singapore. Heard that it have seven themed areas, inside the park, it include; Hollywood Boulevard, The Lost World, Egypt, Cartoon Studios, Waterworld, Super Hero City and The Big Apple. USS is packed with 24 attractions like Jurassic Park Rapids Adventure, Revenge of the Mummy indoor roller coaster, Roller Coasters Battle Star Galactica, Lights! Camera! Action Show! And many more to be listed This theme park boasts a collection of many world firsts: the world’s biggest and most unique dueling Roller Coasters Battle Star Galactica; the world’s first Far Far Away Castle from the world of Shrek; the world’s first Madagascar theme park ride; the world’s biggest single collection of DreamWorks Animation; the world’s first Sci-Fi zone, and more. For just one ticket charge, you will get to enjoy non-stop live entertainment that takes you back to seven thematic worlds, as well as ~30 theme restaurants and food carts and ~20 theme retail stores and kiosks – all within the park. Setting off @ 4.30pm   Nap first to build up the energy; Aisleyne forever very energetic  RW's carpark charge is $7 for the first hour and subsequence $2 per hour. After 7pm is $4 per entry. Is expensive so hubby decided to park at Vivo city for free and take a train to waterfront station.  Going to reach the wonderland soon, so excited!!!!   It’s full of beautiful photos taken all over the park Hollywood serves as the main gate area with it Pantages Hollywood Theater.  The Street Character were very good and fun to watch interacting with the guests. I saw Charlie Chaplin, Kung Fu Panda, Frankenstein, Woody Wood Pecker, Beetlejuice, Betty Boop, Character from Sherk and Madagascar, the Stilt Walkers in Sci-Fic and the Egypt Zone.    Love her, so sweet...    Have to fill our tummies first. We ordered 3 set of meals came to ~S$30.00, with our tickets (3 adults) it was no cost to us. Our entry tickets can exchange for our meals. Really worth it right. The food are not bad too.        Street dancers        We met Betty Boop shortly.  The street dancing Performances were good.     We saw the roller coaster test rides and start having the urge to hop on one of the rides.               The Lost World will have the Jurassic Park Rapids Adventure, the always fun WaterWorld show, the Amber Rock Climb wall, Dino-Soarin (a dumbo style ride), and Canopy Flyer, a ride similar in theme and look to the Islands of Adventure’s Pteradon Flyer.                           In "Far Far Away", we saw the Magic Potion Spin (Ferris Wheel), Shrek 4D and Donkey Live. It have "Enchanted Airways", a fairy-tale themed kiddie coaster, where guests can climb onto Donkey’s Dragon for a flight over Far Far Away.          First time I saw such a beautiful castle in reality. Pink somemore, so nice! Is really an eye opener    Amabel is extremely excited and thrilled when she saw SHREKs.  She really love it. Saw this and decided to get one for her. Though it look like an ugly monster but it really look cute when Amabel carrying it. And she seems to become the main lamplight on the road. Many people pointing at her and the shreks and start commenting "So CUTE!!"               We keep looking around to get something for Aisleyne, finally came to this shop and find something that she likes.  Which one to choose leh?   And we bought the monkey! I can't say enough and start praising on HOW GREAT the STAFFs at USS are. A very welcoming staff at the park; waving at you, always smiling and went out of their way to help you. The cashier assistant even addressed me by name after I gave her my CC, making me feels heartwarming.   Really love USS staff, they're just too friendly, helpful and cheery. Excellent services!! Thumb up  And we paid $3 for a instant family photo taken by them (p/s: not the following one)    I awarded this to myself, for the hardwork. There are 'super mom' and 'best mom', but I decided to choose 'super mom' cause I know I'm not the best mom but I'm definitely a super mommy!! Hahaha....         I feel really the warmth hug from Panda    Back to Hollywood, walking pass ta shop that displaying Shreks, and they start interacting and playing with Amabel who is carrying their shrek haversack.   When we about to leave the theme park, then we realised, there are prams and wheelchairs for rental. Good ideas. Should have rent it lah.   If you didn’t buy a ticket to those sneak preview sessions (starting February 14th through February 21st, from 5pm to 9pm), it’s too late. They’re all sold out. Nevermind, soon the Universal Studios Singapore will open their gates to the public though a bit expensive but I feel worth a visit. Heard from friend, it have confirmed to be on 1 March 2010. This is one of reason why I awarded myself the "Super mom" trophy. Super muscular mommy, I always have to carry two at one time, handle two at a time, discipline two, etc haha    Outside Casino   Wow~ there is Kids Club too   Took the train back to Vivo City   'See You Again!' Definitely!!  Resting our legs at Toastbox  My lil baobei miss her chou chou. She really smart, when the helper carrying her with the haversack standing in a very packed train back to Vivo city, she asked for her chou chou but maid unable to take it out from the haversack. She actually find a way and unzipped the bag and took her chou chou out. We were shocked to see it on her hands.    Mischevious girl start catching with Daddy. Hv u been to disneyland or other universal worlds? Sin one was abit small....:(
I hope I could but Nope. May not have chance to go too cause hubby don't really like travelling.
