The Green Sheep Play

The festival is over... so were the school holiday and 2009
There are HEAPS of events and watching of play/theatre, happening in the month of December 09, 'The Green Sheep' play is one of it and out of all the plays and theatres we went, this is the most I like and can see that both my girls enjoy it.

The Green Sheep play @ Forum the Shopping Mall

The Green Sheep is an interactive play for children age 1 - 6 years old by Mem Fox and Judy Horacek, directed by Cate Fowler.

I were actually in Forum the day before, and came across this play which already in half way of the performance. I find it interesting and decided to bring both my girls to this play the next day so I sms Sz about this play since we are gonna meet for Tea Buffet the next day.



Glad that the Oon family made it early to the venue to help to queue for the passes, were then told to come back 10 mins before and then queue again to be let in. The audience were all seated in a "sheep pen". It involves sing and dance in a world of puppets, musicians and actors in a "sheep pen". The performers brought us along on a journey to look for the Green Sheep with lot of interesting props and I were pretty impressed with the musical instruments for the sound effects. This play is about the journey on looking for the Green Sheep; we came across the Up, Down, Rain, Swing, Red, Blue, Crown,Brave, Band, Train & etc sheeps while looking for the Green Sheep.

Both my girls were fully engrossed in the play, they start sing and dance along.
So fun!!





after the show, we were allowed to interact with the performers and to explore all the props and musical instruments.

daalaa... here the Green Sheep sleeping in it slumberland Zzzzz...
