few hours after delivery

15 August 06 (39weeks 2days gestation age)
Start feeling contraction pain at about 1am+ while I'm sleeping. I bear with it whenever it start pain, I'm just too tired to check the contraction pain interval. Every pain woke me up and I fell back to sleep once the pain subside. It is only until 6am, I decided to sms boss about my contraction pain, will still go to work but if the pain getting worst during work, I may need to go hospital.

I went toilet and discovered some pinkish discharge. Then I know is time liao.

At about 7am, I start kicking hubby, ask him wake up, telling him that I got contraction pain already. He still continue his sleep, thinking that - it is just a normal contraction. I kicked him once again, angrily telling him that "I want to go TMC". Then this idiot wake up.
I went to bathe. Didn't call Dr Khi to inform her since she told me don't have to call her, just directly admit to hospital. Amabel and the maid were sent to in law house.

We reached TMC at 8.20am, still thinking whether to go up gynae clinic first but hubby asked me to straight away admit.

Changed into the surgery gown and were strapped to a CTG monitor.

At 8.55am, the nurse did a virginal examination and gosh i'm already 4cm dilated. She told me "wah that's very good" The nurse immediately contact Dr Khi as my waterbag not yet burst.

Being shaved and had a enema to clear bowel. Were then sent to labour ward, Dr Khi came and I'm 5cm dilated and she burst my waterbag at about 10.30am and a gush of water flushing out. After awhile, my contraction pain getting very intense and super painful. And just like my first pregnancy; I could feel that my whole body started heating up, feel super hot, I faster ask hubby bring out the mini fan that I brought for standby. The nurses were so shock, saying that this is the first time they such patient feeling so hot during labor. A nurse faster helped me find a big fan, has it blowing directly on me. The pain reach the peak that I nearly struggle hubby till his blood cannot flow. This time, I never use the laughing gas cause I know it doesn't work for me instead I keep using the breathing technique. The nurses saw me look so pale, asking me whether I need epidural. I were thinking, siao ah already 5cm you still want me take epidural for what. I told her I don't want epidural, but hubby replied her that he need epidural instead. Lol~

When she knows that first time I never take epidural and she give a shocking look. Dr Khi asked me whether I need a buttock injection to minimise the pain instead since it is included in the package. I injected it but inject like never inject, it still pain like hell but i do feel very giddy after that.

The nurse check again and said that I'm 10cm dilated at about 11.15am. Baby head although have engaged but it is still quite high to prepare for delivery. The nurse called Dr Khi to inform her that I am really to deliver and she told me that if I got a feeling of passing motion, just go ahead to PUSH first so as to push the head down before the gynae come. Just awhile time, I got the super strong urge to push, I faster called hubby to call the nurse that the baby like want to come out, the nurse came in and ask me PUSH HARD. I so ganchiong, ask her, gynea haven't come, if I PUSH, baby really come out how. Haha!

Dr Khi came, I trying hard to push the baby during each contraction. I pushed for nearly 40mins then finally Aisleyne arrived to this world. I were super exhausted, Dr Khi and nurses could see that I used super lot of energy. The nurse immediately put Aisleyne on my chest while Dr Khi is delivering my placenta. I got a small tear and need afew stitches.

My Little Princess, Aisleyne delivered at 12.09pm, weighing 3.010kg, 48cm in length and head circumstances 34cm








This time the wound is not as painful as the first time. I don't need to take any pain killer at all.

<- That's a pic of my cheek after delivery. Meiqi came to visit me afew hours after my delivery. She was shocked to see why my skin appeared like these. I didn't noticed it at all. I asked Dr Khi why my skin on my face, arms and chest appeared with all these rashes. She told me is not rashes but my skin blood vessel burst due to using too much force while pushing 20 August 08 Brought Aisleyne for PD visit in the morning. She weighted 3.070kg. Then afternoon went to see Dr Khi, the wound recovered very well but there is still alot of blood in the womb, got to take medicine to help flush out those blood. Will return for follow-up in a week time. She mentioned that Malay massage will help also, asked me to faster schedule . Have get the Birth Certificate done. Daddy rushed down to TMC to have her birth registered once he gotten Aisleyne's chinese name from her great grandma. My baobei Amabel is sick. Having high fever... feeling super sad and stressful now. She is just back from KK due to high fever. Got to monitor her temperature every hour and keep her away from Aisleyne.

Got to breastfeed Aisleyne now. Will post again soon
